The Amphion Theater and the Arena Stage - both of these parti diagrams need to be revisited. Is there an object or a big idea that you think the architect used when designing these buildings? There are some definite shapes and forms that may be represented in an everyday object or look at the slice of the stairs through the building.
Dear Margarite....It would be also nice if you can revisit the parti diagrams as well. They should represent the basics of one building...it doesn`t mean that it is always the shape in question...it could be floor plan organisation, section, facade....The parti is really important because you have to think about it when representing your own project....you can sometimes start from that kind of skratch and try to design building that will have a specific parti.
