The site I chose for developing my project is the Brooklyn site.
Because the Dumbo its a new developing area with many young and educated people having there theater can be great opportunity for social gathering.

Theater

2.  Why are you researching this building typology?

Because our site for the project located in downtown Brooklyn and has view on the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan it has potential for a nice gathering space. The area also has educated young people that need places to hang out in their free time and interact socially and theaters can be nice place for them.

3.  What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research i.e.   museum for dance, school for digital media…

Theater for festivals and temporary shows such as acrobatic show, dancing or circus.
