CONCEPT DESIGN

IMPRESSION FROM THE SITE:

For the collage of my impression of the site I thought about the day that we went to the site. It was sunny and warm day in the beginning of September, I was trying to observe the site and focus on the possible options for designing and the views around our site of the Brooklyn Bridge and it surrounding inspired me and I was excited to start new project.

EDGE:

  For creating the collage on the word "edge" I was thinking about the definitions of the word such as border and boundary. During my search I ran into a quote that said " edge is being outside of comfort zone" which I identified with so I was trying to show images that represent dangerous and uncomfortable situations and how it feels to be there.   

INSPIRATION OF THE PROJECT:

For creating the collage of my project I was thinking about the idea of Acrobatic and circus theater for me and the process happening behind the scenes of such theater such as the hard self-discipline, effort and work of the performers and animals participating, along with the colorful atmosphere at such place. The masks and mirror in the collage represent self reflection and the mixed emotions on the stage and behind the scene.
